The organiser of PacPrint says some $50m worth of sales were done during the show last month, with exhibitors also going home with several months’ worth of leads that organisers say could be worth another $50m.

The big ANZ print trade show PacPrint has been postponed from this September to next July, in light of the ongoing Covid pandemic that is currently locking down large parts of Australia.

Registrations have now opened online for what organisers are calling “the most important PacPrint ever held”, considering it is perhaps the first industry expo being held anywhere in the world for almost two years.

Representatives from some 40 companies, which will exhibit at PacPrint 2021 and the co-located Visual Impact and Label & Packaging expos, met yesterday for the first time to be briefed on arrangements for the industry’s leading show.

PacPrint 2017 was opened this morning by Hon. Lily D’Ambrosio, Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change.

PacPrint 2017, co-located with the Visual Impact Melbourne show, will open in less than a month and, with 150 exhibitors signed up and visitor numbers tracking strongly, organisers say it’s shaping up as one of the best in recent years.
