A new certification scheme recognising products and projects made with recycled content in Australia is set to launch in late 2025.

The ReMade in Australia program will provide a mark for products and construction projects using recycled materials, with the aim of making it easier for consumers to identify them. It will also promote resource circularity and support local industries using recycled inputs.

According to the program’s organisers, the certification will showcase the value of recycled content, build consumer trust, and encourage more businesses to adopt circular design and procurement practices.

Funded by the Australian Government, ReMade in Australia is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a board of directors and administered by the Australian Made Campaign, which manages the Australian Made, Australian Grown logo.

Businesses interested in certifying their products can sign up for updates at www.remade.org.au.
