Nord Drivesystems has been awarded the silver sustainability certificate from EcoVadis, achieving 68 out of 100 points in the assessment. This marks an improvement over previous years, placing the company well above the industry average.

“In the combined assessment, we rank among the top four percent of the manufacturer group assessed by EcoVadis,” said Jörg Niermann, head of marketing at Nord.

“This positive development is also a result of our sustainability strategy.” The company excelled in the Environment category, reaching the top one percent, and in the Sustainable Procurement division, ranking among the best 11 percent of the assessed companies.

Nord is working to harmonise economic efficiency and sustainability. “Based on our company policy, we act with integrity and responsibility for the environment – locally and globally,” Niermann added.
