The exhibitor database is expected to go live in January 2025, allowing trade visitors to explore the full range of participants. Thomas Franken, director K, Portfolio Plastics & Rubber, noted the return of key industry players who had suspended participation in 2022 due to the pandemic, saying, "Next year the Who’s Who of the plastics and rubber industries will be back again in Dusseldorf."

Special features at K 2025 will include the "Plastics Shape the Future" show, organised by Plastics Europe Deutschland, which will explore the role of plastics in modern innovation and sustainability. Additionally, the VDMA will once again present a forum on the outdoor premises under the title 'The Power of Plastics', with a focus on technological advancements.

The Start-up Zone, which debuted at the last K event, will be expanded to accommodate more newcomers who are developing innovative products and solutions in plastics and rubber. Start-ups are still able to register for this dedicated presentation area.

The Science Campus will also return, providing universities, colleges, and institutes with a platform to present their latest research in plastics. A new concept for the Science Campus allows exhibitors to participate both in the Science Campus Center and with their own exhibition stands.

New initiatives for young professionals and career starters are being developed to introduce them to the diverse opportunities within the plastics sector. In addition, K 2025 will feature a networking event specifically for women in the plastics and rubber industry, aimed at fostering connections and promoting female leadership in the field.
