Flint Group Flexographic Products' FlexoToolbox is the first worldwide app for flexo printing. It is available for free, and for iPhone, iPad and Android devices.

Flexo Toolbox is an interactive collection of tools with many functions for simplifying and standardising flexo prepress, plate making and process control.

The app can assist platemakers with tasks such as the calculation of plate distortion, the control of processing parameters like solvent balance or monitoring UVA intensity, and the determination of sleeve diameters.

All of its helpful functions and tips are available at the push of a button, to significantly simplify the flexo printing process. The unique tool assists anyone working in prepress or press-side functions in the printing industry.

The FlexoToolbox app can be obtained free of charge in the Apple App Store and in the Google Play Store in English language. Chinese, French, German and Spanish versions will also be available very soon.

The Queensland government has launched its $30 million Sowing the Seeds of Farming Innovation Fund (SSFIF), designed to accelerate agricultural innovation, adoption and productivity across the state’s primary industries.

The Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology (ASVO) has appointed Emily White as the organisation’s new executive director, following an extended search for the ideal candidate. She will take over the role from Chris Waters after a two month collaborative transition period.
