Pilz Australia is coming to terms with the sudden loss of managing director, Scott Moffat.

Moffat, who held the position of MD at Pilz Australia for seven years, passed away suddenly while on a business trip to Germany in October.

The company, both in Australia and Germany, is mourning his unexpected loss.

"We miss this wonderful and highly respected friend and colleague. Out thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time," chair of the board, Renate Pilz, said.

Pilz Australia will be led by a local management team in the interim.
