Advanced packaging solutions in Asia will be the focus of Japan's top packaging trade show this October.

Tokyo Pack 2016 will run from 4 to 7 October at Tokyo Big Sight and feature more than 2600 booths representing 600 companies in a 23,000m2 exhibition space.

The show attracts more than 70,000 visitors from inside Japan and overseas.

As a reflection of the theme for this year, The Heart of Advanced Packaging Solutions in Asia, the exhibition aims to be the key choice for Japanese and global companies to exhibit their packaging solutions and technologies.

Tokyo Pack will present packaging, production and processing solutions for companies in sectors of food and beverage, confectionery and bakery products, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, non-food consumer goods, and industrial products.

Also on show will be a range of services relating to packaging materials, printing, testing and inspection, logistics and distribution, and recycling and disposal.

“We hope companies will be able to connect with one another, exchange innovative technological ideas, and discuss concepts for improving the packaging industry in Japan and beyond,” said Koichi Tano, secretary general of the Tokyo Pack secretariat.
