The world's most important packaging industry trade fair has grown an extra limb, “components for processing and packaging”. During the first three days of interpack 2014, May 8 to 10, suppliers will be able to show their products and services at Düsseldorf’s City Hall (Stadthalle) in the Congress Center South (CCD Süd) of the Düsseldorf exhibition grounds. So while supplier companies may not exhibit at interpack itself under the fair’s eligibility criteria, they will get to make use of the exhibitor diversity of interpack and show off what they have to offer. And, with a short walk, exhibitors at interpack will be able to view their suppliers’ products and services.

To make participation as easy as possible for exhibitors at “components for processing and packaging”, stands are being offered in complete packages. These comprise stand construction, furnishings and power consumption in sizes of 9, 12 and 18 square metres.

Exhibitors at, and visitors to, interpack and “components for processing and packaging” can visit both fairs without having to buy a separate ticket.

If this has ignited your ambitions, you can register to exhibit here now www.packaging-components.com.

Food & Drink Business

A lot of food and beverage brands look strong when they’re small. They have one product, one pack, one clear idea and then they grow. That’s usually when things start to unravel, not all at once, but quickly enough to matter. The Creative Method founder and creative director, Tony Ibbotson, explains why – and growth is not the problem.

Victorian-based Aquafab has completed a $620,000 Series A raise through Birchal, supported by over 300 investors. The company told Food & Drink Business that the funds will support continued national growth and plans in place to enter the US and UK markets this year.

Rumin8 is accelerating its methane reducing feed additive commercialisation progress in New Zealand, garnering $4.4 million (US$3 million) in investment as the company prepares to enter the final trial process.
