The countdown to drupa has begun in earnest, with the show due to open in Dusseldorf, Germany on 31 May.

A highlight will be the Drupa Innovation park (DIP) which will play host to 130 exhibitors presenting innovations related to workflow, automation, print technologies, marketing platforms and business models.

The DIP spreads across six theme parks and includes a freely accessible stage program and daily interviews at the DIP energy lounge.

The importance of business models will be emphasised by Osman Zöllner, head of marketing at online printing company WIRmachenDruck GmbH (Germany).

“Our products and services are innovative and provide visitors with new ideas on technologies, applications and trends,” he said.

A familiar face at the DIP is Olav Kollin, general manager at Print 4 Reseller, who will demonstrate Marketplace 4.0 – a central sourcing and marketing platform for print products.

There will also be exhibitors covering technology in mass customisation, multichannel publishing and marketing solutions.
