A husband-and-wife team are making headway as rigid box manufacturers in an area once dominated by white goods factories.

Albert Rea and his wife Scarlett own a bespoke box-making company in Adelaide, South Australia called Box Biz. The factories around them are now closed and empty following the decline of traditional manufacturing, but despite this the pair have successfully built up their business making high-quality, mostly small-run packaging for a niche market.

“Over the last 86 years, our family-run business has perfected the craft, and today we offer a vast range of storage solutions including luxury and presentation boxes,” says Albert Rea.

“The right box can make all the difference. If it's too small, you can't store your items or documents effectively. If it's too large you're wasting space and not capitalising on the scarce storage room you have. Get the perfect boxes, however, and you can store, access and manage everything effectively.

The family business has the passion and knowledge to create storage items out of simple, lightweight material.

Box Biz can deliver nation-wide and offers luxury packaging of corporate gift boxes, spare parts storage boxes, one piece self-assembly boxes, acid-free boxes, binders, metal edge boxes, polypropylene folders and boxes, urn boxes and dental model and open storage file boxes. The company makes its products to the customer's specifications, complete with CAD design work, CMYK printing or embossing.
