The list of packaging companies taking part in ProPak Asia has grown, with Profile Solutions, the Natec Network, and Process Plant signing up to exhibit.

These companies will join the Australian Packaging & Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) at the Australian Pavilion in The Packaging Zone, which will run for the third consecutive year.

ProPak Asia will be held from 13-16 June in Bangkok, Thailand.

The APPMA developed the pavilion as a way to assist Australian packaging and processing manufacturers and distributors to showcase their products and companies to the Asian market.

Joining Profile Solutions, the Natec Network (which includes Gold Peg and Natec), and Process Plant will be Rhima Australia, Fibre King, HMPS, and INOX Australia, as well as APPMA member companies Heat and Control and tna.

Here, we preview what visitors can expect to see in the Aussie pavilion.

ROBOTICS SOLUTIONS FROM FIBRE KING

Fibre King’s display will include a Pick and Place Top Load Case Packer designed to pack cracker biscuits and an End Load Case Packer designed for beverage cans.

The stand will also include a CP20 Palletiser, which is a more traditional mechanical palletiser built for reliability and simplicity.

The low-mid speed CP20 Palletiser employs advanced pallet handling and high-level stacking resulting in the formation of tightly formed stacks.

Fibre King will also showcase its new 3-axis articulated arm robot.

HMPS: NEW MACHINE DESIGN AND IOT SERVICE

HMPS will be showcasing its new-look and new-design machinery, and new IoT service HMPS Connect.

The machinery design prototype will be on display, sporting a solid mechanical design, a smaller footprint, better torsion and less vibration, paired with IoT technologies for ease-of-use.

The added visibility features allow operators to view the operating status and the modular design makes this model scalable for most applications.

The Inox Instantiser.

INOX AUSTRALIA'S HIGH-SPEED, HIGH-SHEAR MIXING

The INOX Instantiser offers fast, homogeneous powder/ liquid mixing and a solution to problems that occur with mixing systems where breaking up of difficult-to-mix solutions and agglomerates is present with traditional mixing equipment.

INOX Instantisers rapidly dissolve and disperse viscous solids, semi solids and powders. A specially designed impellor system combined with an appropriate vessel shape produce a high level of turbulence to dissolve and disperse almost any food product in the most efficient and thorough manner available.

INOX will release the latest version of the INOX Instantiser at ProPak Asia.

Loading has never been easier and safer due to the reduced height of the machine, according to the company.

KELSTREAM OFFERS HEATING AND COOLING SOLUTION

Exhibitor Kelstream builds scraped surface heat exchangers for inline cooling or heating of products. They can process heat-sensitive, viscous, or particulate-laden products, enhance the heat transfer of viscous products, and minimise the extent of burn-on, or fouling on the heat transfer surface.

Gold Peg International specialises in direct steam injection cooking and processing systems.

Natec filling and forming equipment, the FreePack and FreeSlice, produce individually wrapped process cheese slices (IWS) and Slice On Slice (SOS) products.

PROCESS PLANT NETWORK BRINGS IOPACK INNOVATION

Process Plant Network, based in Melbourne, has a large client base of local and international food manufacturers and contract packers.
