Australian Warehouse Solutions (AWS) has expanded its range of carton sealing machines with the addition of two new taping machines under the Rhino brand.

AWS says the machines can  seal between 12 to 20 cartons a minute, and are designed to increase productivity of carton packing operations.

The Rhino model 103SD applies tape to a fixed-size box as well as catering for a variety of different sized boxes through a simple, no-tool operator adjustment.

The other model, the Rhino 105SDR Side Drive, randomly seals any size carton by sensing the box size and automatically adjusting the machine before taping commences.

Both machines feature rugged steel construction designed for 24/7 operation and are built on industrial wheels to provide easy mobility within existing conveyor or packaging lines. They also feature a cassette tape loading system that totally eliminates stoppages for tape changes.

AWS will also stock the Rhino Jumbo Tape in 1000m rolls in its branches in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

The Rhino Tape uses a natural rubber formulation to deliver trouble-free performance on both conventional and recycled boxes, in climate ranges from freezing temperatures in Canberra to sweltering heat and humidity in Australia's tropical north.
