Pact Group has continued to roll out its 'customer-led innovations' with the launch of a new jug-like milk bottle.

Pact's subsidiary Alto worked with Goodman Fielder’s New Zealand dairy brand Meadow Fresh to design the new bottle for its permeate-free milk range.

The latest development follows the launch of the a2 milk bottle in August, which featured centre handle positioning and indentation on the handles.

The new one- and two-litre milk bottles for Meadow Fresh have been designed to stand out on-shelf with a jug-like shape.

The bottles are semi-opaque, so consumers can see the milk level inside, and they have a measuring guide on the side for convenience.

They are also easy to pick up, carry, and pour.

The milk is less processed across the range of blue, light blue, and trim, with Meadow Fresh no longer adding permeate into its milk to standardise it.

According to the company, milk without permeate has high levels of protein and calcium, and a rich, creamy taste.
