Nestle has created 500 special edition KitKat gift packs which celebrate Lunar New Year.

Packaging includes eight individually wrapped single pieces of chocolate encased in a bespoke bamboo box.

Sculpted around the classic KitKat wafer, chocolatiers have taken inspiration from Asia to create flavours such as Red Bean and Toasted Coconut, and Citrus Crème Brulee.

The chocolate company will celebrate The Year of the Rooster by offering the packs at its store in Melbourne Central for $68 this Sunday at 11.30am.

Chocolate lovers can also buy Lunar New Year flavours for $6 as part of the KitKat Chocolatory Special Edition range, and enjoy a store blessing and lion dancing.
