Stan Moore has stepped down as CEO of The Australian Packaging Covenant as part of a refreshed leadership plan which will roll out in 2016.

The National Packaging Covenant Industry Association (NPCIA) and governments have been working to finalise the arrangements for an updated Covenant, to commence in July 2016. It will be fully implemented over the next five years.

Moore made the decision, with the NPCIA, to leave the organisation in order to make way for new governance arrangements and a fresh leadership structure.

He stepped into the CEO role in 2011, less than a year after the Covenent commenced, and there has been extensive growth in industry involvement with the APC since then.
