British and German companies dominated Forbes' list of Western Europe's 50 Most Trustworthy Companies. Krones was ranked in that list. In fact, with 98 points out of a possible 100, Krones, received the best rating of all companies analysed.

The list is based on a study conducted by GMI Ratings, a provider of analyses and ratings, evaluating risks in connection with business management and balance sheet probity. GMI analysed more than 4,000 companies listed on Western Europe’s stock exchanges against around 60 different criteria, and arrived at an “Accounting and Governance Risk” (AGR) rating. GMI reviewed public filings and analysed factors including high-risk events, revenue and expense recognition methods, and bankruptcy risk as indicators of a company’s credibility.

“We are delighted to rank among Western Europe’s most trustworthy companies. This accolade confirms that Krones stands for sound, ethical business management”, Krones’ executive board chairman, Volker Kronseder, added.

Victorian-based Aquafab has completed a $620,000 Series A raise through Birchal, supported by over 300 investors. The company told Food & Drink Business that the funds will support continued national growth and plans in place to enter the US and UK markets this year.

Rumin8 is accelerating its methane reducing feed additive commercialisation progress in New Zealand, garnering $4.4 million (US$3 million) in investment as the company prepares to enter the final trial process.
