Sydney has been chosen as one of eight iconic world cities to grace the labels of a limited edition bottles of renowned spirits brand Jameson Irish Whiskey.

The brand's owner, Pernod Ricard, has announced Australia's celebrated harbour city has joined Amsterdam, Bangkok, Dublin, London, Moscow, Paris and Singapore in being honoured with a bespoke label as part of its recently launched “Love the City” campaign.

Designed by London creative agency Design Bridge, which was also behind a global rebranding of the Jameson range in recent years, the special Sydney edition of Jameson is now available for a limited time as SYD Tax & Duty Free stores at $38.99.

Travellers who purchase a bottle from Love the City range will also get a change to enter a competition to win another piece of prize packaging – a retro-inspired travel trunk, which doubles up as a drinks cabinet and contains all eight Love The City limited editions along with four bottles of Jameson Original.

To enter the competition, purchasers are asked to post a picture of their limited edition bottle or the city they love on Facebook at www.jamesonwhiskey.com/cityedition.
