The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) has launched a mentoring program for women wanting more from their careers.

Run by mentoring group Emberin, 'My Mentor Courageous Woman' is designed to support women in reaching their professional potential at all stages of their career cycle.

Designed for members of the packaging industry, the 12-week program will include advice from the AIP and a variety of industry leaders in the field.

Starting on 15 September and concluding on 8 December, it is run as a series of fortnightly webinars – so there's no need to attend workshops offsite.

Topics covered include personal branding, planning your life and career, taking risks, networking, male and female differences, and communication methods.

Participants are given CDs, DVDs and a workbook, and divided into peer mentoring groups to collaborate and support each other.

Emberin has mentored almost 20,000 women with its My Mentor program, resulting in high promotion rates, increased engagement, higher performance scores, and movement across divisions.

The early bird price of $650 will apply if you register before 28 August, and all registrations for the 2015 program must be made before 10 September.

Send your registration form, or expression of interest, to info@aipack.com.au or phone 07 3278 4490.
