Sacmi’s roll-fed labeller, Opera 200RF, is on show at AUSPACK after receiving the world’s applause.

The star of the Sacmi display area will show off its productivity, flexibility and quick size changeovers, while applying wrap-around plastic labels on plastic, glass or metal containers.

The Opera module lets end users reduce overall machine dimensions considerably and make installation easier due to its outstanding flexibility and "plug & play" labelling technology for self-adhesive labels, plastic roll-fed labels, cold glue or hot glue paper labels. Each module consists of a labelling station mounted on a mobile carriage. This can easily be coupled to, and detached from, the machine base frame and replaced with other modules that provide different technologies or performance according to any precise labelling requirements.

In addition to labelling technology, the Sacmi range also includes top performing capsule, preform and container manufacturing solutions as well as forward thinking systems for aseptic filling.

In fact, Sacmi is able to provide a comprehensive turnkey plant range, that comes with the added value of a sales and after-sales assistance service covering five continents, that provides close support from the initial planning stage and throughout the working life of the machine or plant.

Sacmi will also be showing off its Formsleeve plus, an future forward all-in-none labelling system. This modular labelling machine creates a tubular sleeve, partial or complete, directly in the machine, starting from an MDO (Machine Direction Orientated) reel. The material is fed through a series of motorised feeders that use vacuum technology and a liquid binder to seal the overlapping label flap before direct application on bottles or cans. A steam or heat tunnel positioned at the labeller outfeed completes the shrinking process.
