Less than a month out from the opening of AUSPACK PLUS 2013, organisers have announced a number of significant milestones for the show, with the exhibition now officially sold out and the unveiling of a digital mobile app to assist visitors and exhibitors.

AUSPACK PLUS event manager Luke Kasprzak said all floorspace was now fully occupied for the 2013 exhibition, ensuring this year's show will have the largest exhibitors' roster in its history.

He said visitors can expect to see over 1100 brands and 302 individual exhibitors, including 76 internationals companies when it opens at Sydney's Olympic Park on 7 May.

To assist visitors, organisers have also announced details of the first mobile app for the show. The app, available at auspack.mobi, offers detailed lists of all the exhibitors, including their profiles, stand numbers, interactive floor plans and events during the week.

The app is available for all mobile devices including iPhone, android devices and Blackberrys, as well as all tablets computers including iPads.

“To access the app on your smartphone, tablet or computer simply go to auspack.mobi by typing it into the address bar of your device's browser,” Kasprzak said.

Meanwhile, Kasprzak said the show floor at this year's event will have a more international feel than previous events, with 76 international exhibitors signed up from as close as New Zealand and as far away as Germany.

“It is very exciting to see that we have such an international reach of exhibitors from Taiwan, France, China, Italy, Vietnam, United States, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Singapore, Turkey, South Korea and India,” he said.

International companies attending the show will include Ambaflex Specialty Conveyors, Bandera Luigi, Behn + Bates, Beumer Group, cab Technology, Cermex, Filler Specialties, Haver & Boecker, Krueger & Salecker, Novamont, rml Engineering, Sky Softgel and Utien Pack.
