The Australian Packaging Covenant (APC) has launched its new website with an eye to providing covenant signatories with more detailed information to help them achieve their obligations.

The APC said the decision to enhance its site - at www.packagingcovenant.org.au - was prompted by requests from member companies of the covenant.

"APC signatories have told us they are keen to see more case studies, workshops and training, information and guidance, and are also interested in better access to other signatories," the APC said.

"The new APC website will go a long way towards facilitating access to this information and interaction.

"The redesigned website provides our signatories with improved access to resources that will assist them to fulfil their obligations as signatories.

"This also supports our focus on improving the capacity of signatories to achieve the goals of the Covenant."

Key features of the new site include:

  • A resource database to provides signatories with quick access to a range of resources that will help build their capacity to meet the targets of the APC;
  • A database of APC funded projects which will aid greater learning by signatories and enhanced recognition of what is being achieved through these projects; and
  • An APC signatory database, including action plans and annual reports which will allow signatories to gain inspiration from the achievements of each other.
