One of the country's best known and longest-standing companies in the narrow and wide-web printing and converting industries, Aldus Engineering, is on the hunt for a sales manager.

The company, which recently exhibited at the PacPrint exhibition in Melbourne – one of the few local companies to have attended every edition of the show – is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic applicant to represent the company's range of well-known brand equipment in the northern NSW and Queensland markets.

The position, based in the company's plant in West Ryde, Sydney, includes an attractive salary, sales commission, motor vehicle allowance and other benefits. The successful applicant will also be required to undertake interstate and occasional overseas travel.

The position also offers opportunities for future advancement within the company.
Aldus general manager Ian Guanaria said the applicant should have a proven track record in printing or related industries.

Applicants are asked to contact Guanaria at ian.guanaria@aldus.com.au.

Aldus represents a range of well-known capital equipment suppliers to the printing and converting industries, including Mark Andy, Rotaflex, Epson, Tidland, Harper, Heaford, Graymills, Fife, MicroClean, Ebercon, Bielloni and many more.

The federal government has confirmed it will not proceed with the Tax Laws Amendment (Incentivising Food Donations to Charitable Organisations) Bill 2024, saying the legislation contains “deficiencies that compromise its policy intent”, even as food insecurity remains at record levels across Australia.

That’s usually when things start to unravel, not all at once, but quickly enough to matter. The Creative Method founder and creative director, Tony Ibbotson, explains why – and growth is not the problem.

Victorian-based Aquafab has completed a $620,000 Series A raise through Birchal, supported by over 300 investors. The company told Food & Drink Business that the funds will support continued national growth and plans in place to enter the US and UK markets this year.
