The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) is asking for donations to 800 hampers for those in need.

In co-operation with Foodbank, the AIP, APPMA, SCLAA and QSCLC have packed 3200 hampers to the value of close to $400,000 for people in need over the past five years.

All you have to do is nominate your company, social club or family and friends to help collect or purchase items, or even donate funds towards the goal of 800 items.

Hamper items needed include personal hygiene products such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, deodorant and razors, as well as tinned food, rice and pasta.

The donations will help make Christmas brighter for those in crisis.

To ask about helping, email the AIP.
