UPM Raflatac and YG Branding and Design Experts are putting on what they said is the “first virtual expo for wine and spirits focusing on the packaging value chain”.

The event is set to take place on 9 – 10 June and will be organised in collaboration with more than a dozen other partners from around the world in the wine and spirits packaging value chain. Industries that will be covered include (but are not limited to) label printing, foil stamping, and glass bottle production.

The virtual event will consist of panel discussions and webinars that will share the latest trends and industry insights, as well as connect customers, suppliers, and colleagues across the industry and around the world.

Stefano Pistoni, manager, global business development, wine and spirits, at UPM Raflatac, said the world is changing in ways we cannot yet estimate.

“But we are sure that the virtual world is becoming a natural method of contact between clients and suppliers,” he said.

“Together with our partners we are building a virtual platform that delivers live experiences, valuable content and new connections to industry members around the world. In these webinars we will cover topical themes such as sustainability, packaging innovation, and education, as well as design and trends.”

The expo is open for everyone interested in the wine and spirits industry. Participants will have an opportunity to visit interesting virtual stands hosted by some of the most prestigious providers in the global industry. In addition, visitors will have access to several webinar sessions and panel discussions with live engagement.

“This event co-organised by UPM Raflatac and YG Branding & Design Experts is a great example of what the world needs once this crisis is over: collaboration and co-creation to Move On," Sebastian Yáñez, director, YG Branding & Design Experts, said.
