HMPS Propac has appointed TNA Solutions as its authorised sales and service partner for New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and Papua New Guinea, strengthening local support for its installed customer base across the region.

Under the agreement, all service requests and spare parts orders will be managed by TNA Solutions NZ, which will coordinate scheduling, on-site support and customer invoicing. HMPS Propac will continue to provide engineering oversight, with OEM servicing standards and warranties unchanged.

The move is designed to improve responsiveness and uptime for customers by placing service delivery closer to site, while maintaining the technical rigour associated with HMPS Propac equipment.

“Faster local coverage, same servicing quality – that’s what our customers in New Zealand, Pacific Islands and PNG can expect,” said Mark Emmett, managing director at HMPS Propac. “With TNA’s on-the-ground team coordinating callouts and parts, and HMPS Propac providing engineering oversight, we’re strengthening uptime and service continuity across the region.”

Ramon Barr, branch manager – TNA Solutions New Zealand, said the partnership provides a streamlined access point for customers.

“HMPS Propac’s installed base in this region now has a single front door for sales, service and spares,” Barr said. “Our technicians will respond locally, with direct access to HMPS Propac procedures and parts, so customers get both speed and the quality the TNA brand is known for globally.”

The partnership also opens the door for New Zealand manufacturers to access a broader suite of packaging and processing technologies across the HMPS Propac and Engi-O portfolios. This includes solutions spanning vertical form fill seal (VFFS), liquid filling, bag-in-box systems, palletising and case packing.

For HMPS Propac, the appointment reflects a continued focus on strengthening aftermarket support and building closer proximity to customers in key regional markets, while leveraging TNA’s established service infrastructure and global footprint.

A sweeping government review of Australia’s research and development system has recommended significant changes to tax incentives, manufacturing support and R&D funding to reshape how companies invest in innovation.
