ELGi has developed and is supplying its Customized Engineered Product (CEP), a modular, plug-and-play compressed-air system designed for flexible, decentralised manufacturing in Australia.

The system integrates a compressor, refrigerated or desiccant air dryer, air receiver tank, filtration system and an integrated control panel on a single steel skid. Each CEP package arrives fully assembled and factory-tested, ready for immediate connection and operation.

Modular design allows manufacturers to scale output as demand changes, operate skids independently to reduce downtime, minimise installation work and optimise energy use. Features including variable speed drive technology, optimised airflow and intelligent controls can deliver up to 35 per cent energy savings compared with fixed-speed systems, ELGi says.

All components are selected, assembled and tested by ELGi engineers to ensure consistent performance and simplified maintenance. The skid can be deployed quickly in remote or decentralised facilities, providing reliable compressed air without the need for a central compressor room.

The CEP range also supports sustainability objectives, enabling manufacturers to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions while lowering total cost of ownership through reduced maintenance and downtime.
