President of the WPO, Luciana Pellegrino: Pack't Forum aims to accelerate the exchange of ideas across the global packaging industry.

Pack’t Forum allows users to ask technical questions, respond to discussions and share best practices online. Topics on the platform include packaging design, materials, production technologies, sustainability, circular economy and emerging industry trends.

According to WPO, the platform aims to support knowledge exchange within the sector and encourage dialogue between professionals from different regions and disciplines.

Luciana Pellegrino, president of the World Packaging Organisation, says the platform is intended to support collaboration across the industry.

“The objective of Pack’t Forum is to build a vibrant international ecosystem where knowledge becomes a shared resource and where experienced professionals can inspire the next generation of packaging innovators,” Pellegrino says.

“By connecting experts, practitioners and students from different countries and disciplines, the platform aims to accelerate the exchange of ideas that can drive better solutions for industry challenges and societal needs.”

She says the platform provides a space for industry participants to share insights as the sector responds to sustainability goals, technological developments and changing consumer expectations.

“As the global packaging industry continues to evolve in response to sustainability goals, technological innovation and changing consumer expectations, Pack’t Forum offers a new digital space where the collective intelligence of the industry can come together to shape the future of packaging across the globe,” Pellegrino says.

WPO is encouraging companies, academic institutions and individuals to register and participate in discussions on the platform.
