The recognition highlights her more than 30 years in Australian manufacturing, including overseeing growth in production and leading the development of a new global headquarters and distribution centre. Ego Pharmaceuticals said her leadership has supported an average 12 per cent compound growth in production over the past decade.

“I am truly honoured by this recognition,” said Dr Oppenheim. “I believe in the power of a robust, high-technology manufacturing industry to create skilled jobs and add value to our community. I am passionate about fostering an environment of innovation and sustainability that benefits not only our company but all of Australia.”

Earlier this year, Ego Pharmaceuticals announced a $156 million, decade-long investment to expand its Victorian operations. The project includes the launch of the Zorzi Innovation Centre, a new cream filling line, a warehouse upgrade, and sustainability initiatives under The Green Core project. The expansion is expected to double production and create 90 new jobs across Braeside and Dandenong South, supporting the company’s QV Skincare brand and wider local manufacturing operations.
