Global shrink sleeve and pre-cut lid manufacturer Chadwicks of Bury, part of the Clondalkin Group, is expanding its presence in Australia and New Zealand with the appointment of a new technical sales manager.

John Harrison joins Chadwicks with 30 years of flexible packaging experience, including at Courtaulds, Huhtamaki and Amcor. Alastair Bearman, sales and marketing director, says he is delighted to have Harrison on the team.

“Australia and New Zealand have always been important markets for Chadwicks and offer good growth potential,” said Bearman. “It is important for us to develop strong relationships with our customers to ensure that we continue to offer added value, so having the right calibre of personnel on the ground is essential.”

Harrison will be tasked with growing the company’s customer base and managing its existing business, and says he is eager to get to work.

“Chadwicks is renowned within the industry for its innovation and technical expertise. The business already has a strong commercial presence in Australia and New Zealand, and I am looking forward to supporting the company’s growth strategy and expanding the Chadwicks brand,” he said.
