For a limited time, fans will be able to discover a range of special packs, produced and printed in-house at Bel Brands Group, showcasing beloved Pokémon such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle and Pikachu, adding a playful twist to Babybel’s appealing cheese snacks.

“Babybel has always been about bringing joy to snack time, and there is no better way to do that than by teaming up with Pokémon, a franchise that has captured the hearts of fans across multiple generations,” said a spokesperson from Bel Brands Australia.

“Combining the Pokémon franchise with Babybel is a great way to create excitement for fans of both brands and to appeal to both youngsters as well as their parents who grew up with Pokémon.

“Together, we’re looking to deliver a delicious and entertaining way for fans to enjoy both worlds and to turn every Babybel moment into a tasty adventure.”

The special edition Pokémon Mini Babybel packs will be available in the 5-pack format at Coles, Woolworths and Metcash stores across the country from early April onwards until sold out.

To make the collaboration even more exciting, eye-catching point-of-sale materials will feature in store, supported by engagement from influencers on key platforms such as Tik Tok and Instagram, encouraging fans to share their favourite Pokémon Mini Babybel moments.

Bel Brands Australia, in collaboration with its local design agency, developed the materials and print production of the promotional materials, which includes fridge decals, wobblers, bus stop ads, front of store screens, eComm tiles, and in-store/online catalogue features.

So, whether fans are fuelling up for a Pokémon battle or simply looking for a tasty and nutritious snack, Babybel and Pokémon are set to offer the ultimate combo for adventure-seeking trainers.

A lot of food and beverage brands look strong when they’re small. They have one product, one pack, one clear idea and then they grow. That’s usually when things start to unravel, not all at once, but quickly enough to matter. The Creative Method founder and creative director, Tony Ibbotson, explains why – and growth is not the problem.

Victorian-based Aquafab has completed a $620,000 Series A raise through Birchal, supported by over 300 investors. The company told Food & Drink Business that the funds will support continued national growth and plans in place to enter the US and UK markets this year.
