After a three year break, foodpro is returning in 2026, taking place over four action-packed days at the end of July. Registration is now open for the powerhouse food and beverage manufacturing event, featuring processing technology, packaging, ingredients and sustainable solutions – all under one roof.

Taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 26-29 July, the event will provide professionals the opportunity to gain practical insights on automation and efficiency, and connect with more than 400 suppliers and industry peers driving Australia's food manufacturing sector forward.

Event director, Louise Brooks, said food and beverage manufacturers are facing mounting pressure to reduce waste, improve efficiency and meet sustainability targets – all while managing rising energy costs and labour shortages.

“Foodpro provides a platform for the industry to come together, explore practical solutions in processing and packaging innovation, and connect with the suppliers and technologies that can help them stay competitive,” said Brooks.

Following the success of the 2023 event, this year foodpro will feature an expanded show floor spanning every stage of food and beverage production. Product zones will include Food Science & Technology, Processing & Packaging, Intelligent & Digital Factories, Beverage Equipment, Packaging Materials, Factory Infrastructure, Logistics & Handling, Government & Business Services, and Ingredients & Additives.

PKN Packaging News and stablemate Food & Drink Business are the exclusive media partners for foodpro’s Industry Hub. Our teams will be reporting live from the foodpro showfloor, providing daily updates on trends and technologies that catch our eye.

The event will again co-locate with the Australian Institute of Food Science & Technology Conference (AIFST26), held over two days on 27-28 July. The conference will bring together food science and technology professionals to explore current research, regulation and key industry challenges.

Attendance at foodpro is free for industry professionals, with registration now open at foodproexpo.com. Head online for further information and catch regular updates across the PKN and Food & Drink Business website and socials.
