The Sauce BioCups, available in 45ml, 90ml, and 120ml sizes, are designed to meet the needs of food businesses requiring branded packaging. The cups feature a durable, leakproof surface that is easy to print on, enabling companies to display their branding and operational information, such as tick box matrices or colour codes. The custom printing is part of BioPak's normal service and is done at their manufacturing facilities.

“These products were developed in response to feedback from our partners, who highlighted the need for functional packaging that supports environmental goals,” said Trevor Rumble, product & innovations director at BioPak. “The new Sauce BioCups deliver a minor change that provides a significant impact on both customer experience and sustainability.”

The new range meets regulatory requirements for single-use plastic bans across all Australian states and territories. Made from FSC Mix certified paper and coated with an aqueous barrier, the cups are fully compostable in both home and industrial compost settings. The matching lids are crafted from the same compostable material, allowing consumers to responsibly dispose of both the cup and lid after use.

“BioPak is committed to offering businesses packaging solutions that combine sustainability with quality and compliance,” Rumble continued. “Our customisable options support food businesses in reducing their reliance on fossil-based plastics while maintaining brand identity.”

The Sauce BioCups and Lids are certified to both home compost (AS5810) and industrial compost (AS4736) standards.
