Andrew Donald Design Engineering (ADDE) designs and builds custom robotic and automation solutions for a wide range of industries and applications, and will be showcasing the diversity of automation projects it has delivered and highlight some of the key technologies it integrates.

Otto Motors AMRs (AGVs) automate common material handling tasks, big and small, to help manufacturers tackle labour shortages, scale their business, and outperform the competition. ADDE is the Australian integration partner for Otto’s three models of AMR with payloads of 100, 750 and 1500kgs.

There are three key parts to an AMR implementation – the vehicle, fleet management software, and the integration with other factory process. ADDE offers a full-service implementation and is happy to explore the possibilities in customer’s facilities.

Shown for the first time in Australia will be the world’s smallest and most precise 6-axis robot, the Mecademic Meca500. Built with precision-machined aluminium and zero-backlash gearboxes, the Meca500 boasts a repeatability of 5μm. Also on display will be a range of collaborative robots for assembly, packing and palletising.
