Haver & Boecker, a developer and supplier of packing technologies for the food, building materials, chemicals and cement markets, will have its latest valve bag packing technology on full display at APPEX 2024.

The company’s food packing solutions, delivered by its specialist food packing brand Behn + Bates, focus on the optimum packing of bulk, dry powdery and granular-type foods. The technology suite includes a comprehensive range of flexible, high performance packing solutions designed for manufacturers of all sizes, with any budget.

With a dedicated on-the-ground team in Australia since 2013, the company has been working closely with Australian producers of food such as flour, starch, gluten, sugar and cocoa powder for more than ten years.

Haver & Boecker Australia sales engineer Alexandre Santi said that the many benefits of valve bags meant that their popularity continues to grow globally, including in Australia, as more and more manufacturers move away from open mouth bags.

According to the company, key benefits of packing with valve bags include cleaner, more hygienic filling, less product loss, durable presentation and the flexibility to configure the technology to specific product characteristics.

“We offer solutions from more manual lines right through to completely automated solutions. It means that no matter the customer’s size and budget, we can offer a best-fit solution for them. We are a ‘one stop shop’,” said Santi.

“We then support customers throughout the lifecycle of their machine with after-sales support including training, servicing and modernisation packages.”

Visit Haver & Boecker at Stand E135. APPEX is taking place on 12-15 March at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Free registration is open now.
