In the four days of this groundbreaking event, the industry showed its focus, intelligence and collaboration giving visitors an unprecedented insight into rapidly developing technologies, and into how an industry, that more than ever is in the national spotlight, is positioning itself superbly to meet the challenges ahead.

The non-stop series of workshops, forums and seminars that ran throughout the expo, along with the new technology on display, revealed that the packaging and processing industry is working hard, and with urgency, to give the nation what it needs, in its delivery of goods within the expected safety, cost and time parameters, while transitioning to a sustainable future.

The industry showed its willingness to work together, putting aside self interest for the greater good, with exhibitors, and packaging and processing professionals visiting the expo, expressing their openness to one another, a dynamic that greatly impressed overseas guests.

CEO of show owner APPMA, Michael Moran, said: "Build it and they will come best describes the result. APPEX 24 delivered on all fronts uniting the whole processing and packaging industry with a world class and groundbreaking exhibition under one roof. With over 440 exhibitors and all the major industry alliances partners and associations showcasing what’s new in manufacturing, robotics, automation, packaging, materials, services, sustainability and food waste across all industry sectors including meat processing, food and beverage, pharma and dairy, it was no wonder the number and quality of visitors exceeded expectations. The additional features and events during the four days including the IPPO forum, meat industry day, the Women in Processing and Packaging networking event, the Awards of Excellence Gala, the packed seminar theatre and APPEX hubs/restaurant to name a few, all added additional to the value and experience for everyone involved."
