AmbaFlex will be showcasing its AccuVeyor AVh, a non-touching dynamic accumulation, at APPEX, which it says will be the first time this equipment is demonstrated in Australia. The company will be exhibiting on stand F115.

AmbaFlex says that to increase line efficiency, each machine must perform optimally in the packaging process. The solution for catching speed differences, or obtaining a quick booting synchronisation, is line balancing with an accumulator. This also helps with eliminating micro stops and to prevent shutdowns in sensitive processes such as conditioned packaging or the continuous welding of flow packs.

AmbaFlex's AccuVeyor AVh is described as a full dynamic accumulator on a first-in, first-out principle. It does not touch or clamp the products in any way. The products do not change tracks, but remain on the same portion of conveyor belt, in-between the infeed and outfeed parts. This means it is not the products, but the conveyor belt, that changes direction.

Ambaflex says this AccuVeyor type is especially suited for primary packed delegated products of all shapes that cannot tolerate any pressure or touching.

APPEX is taking place on 12-15 March at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre. Free registration is open now.
