FROMM Packaging Australia, a subsidiary of The FROMM Group, has signed an agreement to transfer CHEP Australia’s stretch wrapping portfolio to FROMM, effective 26 March 2021. 

CHEP’s stretch wrapping portfolio was originally established to provide stretch wrapping machine rental and pallet wrapping film sales as an additional service for CHEP’s pallet customers.

FROMM Packaging is a leader in the engineering and manufacturing of high-quality strapping and wrapping equipment, including associated consumables, for both the manufacturing and supply chain industries. As a result of this new agreement, FROMM Packaging says it is now able to support stretch wrapping customers with greater access to equipment and associated consumables, innovation, technical expertise and know-how, in this specialised engineering and manufacturing space. 

“This transfer is an important step forward in our continued growth within the Australian packaging market,” says Richard Layton, FROMM Packaging managing director. 

“CHEP’s stretch wrapping customers can feel comfortable in knowing that it will be business as usual.”

The Top 10 remained a stable list this year, with five companies holding their position – Fonterra (#1), JBS (#2), Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (#3), Asahi (#4), and Thomas Foods International (#7). The biggest change was Treasury Wine Estates dropping out of the list, from #10 to #13.
