French yoghurt brand Yoplait has teamed up with Norwegian illustrator Esra Roise to launch a limited edition product.

The packaging for the new Yoplait Double 0% Limited Edition yoghurt displays a unique floral motif which includes the designer’s favourite flowers.

Roise has previously worked on projects for Vogue, Estée Lauder and Stella McCartney.

“I didn't place too much emphasis on the ingredients in my design, despite the fact the yoghurt contains lots of berries and natural sweetener,” Roise says.

“It's a brave choice of Yoplait to let the packaging stand strong as a visual element.

“This has been a very exciting and fun project to work on.”

The illustrator's summery design includes flowers, lilies, daisies and poppies, along with leaves.

The stevia plant is also included to emphasise the natural sweetener in the yoghurt.

Carl Andre Pedersen, Yoplait Norway's brand manager, said the brand traditionally featured the products’ ingredients as a key element of package designs, but the team wanted to try something different for its limited edition variety.

“It's a new and exciting experience to treat the pack as an art canvas,” he said.

During the campaign period, customers can win prints signed by Esra Roise, and the grand prize will be a trip to Paris.
