Sydney branding and design company Squad Ink won packaging and brand identity acclaim at the 2017 American Craft Spirits Awards.

Squad Ink won a gold medal for its ‘Signature Dry Gin Packaging’ and the prestigious ‘Best Brand Identity’ for its work with Archie Rose Distilling Co.

The design agency was asked to brand and package the range of spirits by the craft distillery, including a Dry Gin, Original Vodka, and a White Rye.

The label design approach was about honoring a "function-led aesthetic", according to Squad Ink.

Delivering the label design required an in-depth understanding of spirit production at Archie Rose and the key ingredients used.

The 2017 ADI awards were open to Independently-owned American and International craft distillers, blenders, bitters makers, and producers of aperitifs & fortified wines.
