Heilala Vanilla has collaborated with Auckland-based brand and communications agency Milk to unveil its refreshed brand and packaging design in celebration of its 10 year anniversary.

The New Zealand vanilla company aimed to move away from traditional cues within the vanilla category and strengthen its brand on shelf, expanding on the Heilala Vanilla logo and scattering a floral and soft pink theme across the new design.

Heilala Vanilla CEO Jennifer Boggiss said wanted to recognise the 10 year milestone achieved with the new look and have greater focus on the consumer.

“As we move into the next phase of the brand we are committed to delivering top quality vanilla products while continuing our mission of being a purpose-led business, through supporting our vanilla growing communities in Tonga," she said.

“Our Baking Blend Vanilla Paste has moved from a bottle format to a more user friendly, squeezy aluminium tube which is airtight, [which] ensures no ingress of light and UV rays so the product keeps better. There is no mess or product wastage in the new format.”

Manufactured by New Zealand’s CTCPac, the refreshed range of Heilala products will be rolling out across Australia over the coming weeks, with a premium range expected for release in mid-2019.
