Sydney-based design agency Tweak was asked to think up a fresh packaging look for a new brand of snack food in Australia.

Hooplas are small, crunchy potato-based rings that come in three flavours: original salted, sour cream and chives, and hot 'n' spicy.

Tweak wanted to display playful typography, bright colour cues, and scattered product photography to express the brand's quirky, cheerful product positioning.

The distinctive brand mark adds personality to the unique square-bottomed pack, boosts shelf impact, and reflects the brand essence at first glance.

There are currently similar products in overseas markets, but the potato rings concept is new to Australia.
