Adelaide creative agency Voice took home a national design award for its work on a wine bottle label.

Run by the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA), the Adelaide-based awards recognise excellence in such things as packaging design, illustration for design, identity design, and typeface design.

Voice was given its second glass Pinnacle award for the d’Arenberg label The Old Bloke & The Three Young Blondes (pictured); three Distinctions for Old Jarvie, Hugh Hamilton and d’Arenberg; and a Judge’s Choice for Old Jarvie.

Voice was established in 1999 by graduate design students Anthony De Leo (pictured below) and Scott Carslake.

Visy has completed a $30 million upgrade to its 100 per cent recycled paper mill on Gibson Island in Brisbane, which will manufacture new grades of paper for corrugated boxes used by Queensland farmers and food and beverage businesses.
