Wood is now an established material in cosmetics packaging, offering a responsible choice for beauty brands aiming to convey a story. For Sisley’s neuroscience-based skincare brand Neuraé, Quadpack has produced maple wood caps and collars, along with other sustainable material initiatives for the range.

The packaging includes glass bottles and jars adorned with maple wood caps and collars from Quadpack, along with roll-ons, forming an appealing range for the senses.

Quadpack’s wood experts collaborated with Neuraé to reduce plastic usage, opting for glass, recyclable plastic, and wood. The maple wood, chosen for its clear surface and smooth finish, was used for custom-designed collars and caps for the droppers, jars, and roll-ons, manufactured at Quadpack's Wood factory in Spain.

The facility is powered by renewable energy and a biomass plant running on production scrap. The wood is sourced from sustainably-managed forests, and each wooden component is unique with its own grain pattern. The caps were branded using laser engraving, meticulously calibrated to ensure superficial scoring without a burnt effect.

The Emotion Boosters are designed for on-the-go usage. The 6.5ml glass bottles were lacquered and decorated with one-colour silk screening. Each variant's roller ball applicator features a semi-precious stone: jade for ‘énergie’, pink quartz for ‘joie’, and amethyst for ‘sérénité’, all topped with maple caps.

Neuraé, a new brand from Sisley, connects skincare with wellbeing by celebrating positive emotions such as joy, energy, and serenity. The packaging complements Neuraé’s formulas, which consist of at least 95 per cent natural ingredients.

According to the company, “The natural wood, glass, and semi-precious stones enhance the sensory appeal of the range, supporting Neuraé’s goal to cultivate beautiful skin together with wellbeing."
