Tubemaker Impact International is revving up for a good cause, with its “tube-o-charged” 2002 Subaru Impreza rally car set to compete in the 2025 Kidney Kar Rally.

Racing under the team name Tubesters United, the Impact crew, led by MD Aleks Lajovic, will join 40 cars on the eight-day, 3500km journey that goes from Bathurst to Port Macquarie, then up to Grafton and Inverall before finishing in Dubbo.

The rally raises funds for Kidney Health Australia, with this year’s $500,000 target helping to support programs such as Kidney Health 4 Youth.

This initiative provides vital support for children living with chronic kidney disease, who often face challenges including isolation, delayed development and self-image struggles.

Companies supporting the team include: Martogg & Company; Kissel & Wolf; Network Insurance House; Wetherill Park Industrial Real Estate; Wagner Prestige Labels; Allkotes; Hi Class Mechanical; JSJ Roofing; Mascot Engineering; RE Electronics; Tasman Machinery; Modoras Financial Services; Lomar Tooling; Unitech I.T Solutions.

Lajovic told PKN: "So far, Tubesters United has already raised more than $11,500 towards this important cause – and we're not done yet."
