Print & Pack will now distribute all Bobst products in Australia and New Zealand, including webfed presses.

Bobst has moved to consolidate its Australian and New Zealand activities under the Print & Pack banner, with the local distributor having partnered with the Swiss manufacturer since the early 2000s.

According to Carsten Wendler, managing director of Print & Pack, this new move builds on that long relationship, including the 2018 integration of Print & Pack into Bobst’s SAP system for spares.

“CI flexo presses from Bobst Bielefeld, Germany; rotogravure presses and coating and laminating lines from Bobst Italy; narrow/mid web inline flexo and hybrid presses from Bobst Firenze; and metallisers from Bobst Manchester are now represented and supported under the Print & Pack banner, making us a fully extended arm of the Bobst organisation.

“We welcome the decision of Bobst and look ahead to an exciting time to support the Bobst webfed products and industry, and to introduce new technologies,” said Wendler.

Print & Pack employs 25 staff across Sydney, Melbourne, and Auckland to support local packaging and printing, including the existing Bobst install base.
