Jet Technologies is making what it says is a “significant step forward” in providing sustainable and innovative packaging solutions to ANZ, by partnering with Actega, a global specialist in coatings, sealants, printing inks and adhesives for the packaging industry.

The partnership will focus on showcasing a number of Actega's products in ANZ, including highly abrasion-resistant matt and gloss coatings, coatings for in-mold labels, and the ACTGreen Barrier Coatings. Jet says all these products are designed to meet the growing demand for sustainable packaging solutions, providing “easy and efficient” recycling of end products, and meeting upcoming recycling requirements regarding packaging waste and recyclability.

Operating for a quarter of a century, Actega says it has a commitment to sustainability, high-quality products, and technical expertise. With the motto "Let us make the world a little bluer", Actega says it takes a holistic approach to sustainability, integrating it into every aspect of its operations and product offerings. It says the partnership with Jet Technologies aligns with Actega's mission, leveraging Jet’s industry expertise and customer service to deliver Actega's solutions to a broader audience.

Björn Mohr, director Paper & Board Asia at Actega. "Together, we aim to influence the sustainability of packaging significantly, supporting food protection, simplifying recycling processes, and driving innovative solutions to reduce packaging waste in the ANZ market."

"Our partnership with Actega represents a shared vision of sustainability and innovation in the packaging industry," said Colin McNeil, commercial print sales manager at Jet Technologies. "We are committed to bringing Actega's sustainable, high-quality products to our customers, empowering them to meet the evolving demands of the market and industry regulations, to contribute to a more sustainable future."

According to Jet, Actega's focus on sustainability, technical advice, and first-class product solutions, coupled with Jet Technologies' local market presence and service excellence, will support the growth in sustainable packaging solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
