Italian labelling equipment manufacturer ACMI Labelling Solutions has joined the Omnia Technologies Group, in a move that strengthens Omnia’s growing Beverage Bottling & Packaging Division and extends its global reach – including into Australia, where Omnia maintains a presence and is a member of the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA).

ACMI, based in Mozzecane in Italy’s Verona province, is a recognised global player in advanced labelling technologies for the beverage, food, dairy and personal care sectors. Its product line-up includes high-speed systems such as the OperaPro and the flexible, modular FlexiOpera and FlexiKube solutions, catering to both high- and low-volume production requirements.

The 2024 integration of ACMI into Omnia Technologies reflects the group’s strategic vision to build a comprehensive offering across the entire packaging line. This includes processing, raw material handling, water treatment, labelling, and end-of-line systems – positioning Omnia as an end-to-end partner for manufacturers in Australia and beyond.

For the Australian beverage and wine industry – key sectors in the national packaging landscape – ACMI’s solutions bring flexibility, customisation, and compliance with traceability standards. Its range includes:

  • Rollfed labellers for high-speed, wrap-around plastic labels
  • Self-adhesive systems for shaped or partially labelled containers using customisable label materials and finishes
  • Cold Glue units for cost-effective application of paper labels with high visual appeal
  • Hot Melt technology for wrap-around labelling using paper or plastic

ACMI also offers integration of real-time printing and marking within the labelling units, allowing producers to meet regulatory demands for traceability, including batch and expiry information.

By joining Omnia Technologies, ACMI now benefits from group synergies while expanding its capabilities as a full-service provider to the global and Australian beverage and FMCG sectors.
