Detmold Group company Paper-Pak has launched a premium range of beverage carton packaging along with a custom printing option. PKN spoke to business development manager Simon Harris.

Family owned Australian Company Paper-Pak, a specialist paper and board packaging manufacturer dedicated to the retail industry, has launched a new three- and six-pack shipping carton and carry-pack range made from strong fluted board.

The new designs offer protection for wine or other beverages in transit, and the company provides a one-stop-shop service including custom branding of the outer packaging, Simon Harris told PKN

The new premium range is targeted at boutique wineries, distilleries and craft breweries, offering off-the-shelf solutions to meet all bottle-packing needs with carry bags and cartons, or sturdy shipping cartons.

There’s also the option to make your mark by custom printing packaging with the assistance of Paper-Pak’s design specialists.

“When you personalise our first-class quality bags or cartons with your own branding you’re essentially creating a walking billboard – you can even print on the entire surface of the bag,” Harris said.

Paper-Pak fulfils orders for as little as 500 units but also has the capabilities to meet the packaging requirements of a large organisation.

East End Cellars owner Michael Andrewartha said: “We trialled a selection of Paper-Pak’s new bottle cartons in our pop-up bottle shop at Tasting Australia. The boxes and bags were both strong and practical, allowing local, national and international visitors to take home a taste of South Australia’s best wines.”

The premium wine and bottle packing range also offers durable and affordable liquor bags with an option for high wet strength as well as high quality tissue paper that can add a luxurious touch to premium products.
