Last week, the Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) team visited Adelaide to meet up with members based in the city of churches, many of which it hasn’t seen in over three years.

Michael Moran, APPMA CEO, alongside Denni Egan, events and member services coordinator, visited a number of APPMA member companies during their visit, gaining a better understanding of business operations and seeking feedback on the latest APPMA initiatives and announcements in the past 12 months.

Moran and Egan met with members from locally owned and run businesses, including Tania Carey from Food Processing Equipment, Gary and Isaac Sandercock from Propak Industries, and Mark Emmett and the team at HMPS.

On the evening of Tuesday 7 November, APPMA held a special member event at the National Wine Centre, and guests were treated to an intimate tour of the facility, and taken on a journey through Australian Wine.

APPMA members networked through the night, with music from Jess & Tooch (Him & Her Music), regional wine tasting stations showcasing the best of South Australian wines, and food that included some of the best produce from the state.

Topped off by a blood moon overlooking the event, APPMA members had a wonderful night with their industry colleagues, and are already looking forward to the next time they can all catch up.
