The Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP) is partnering with a new campaign aimed at empowering small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to start using the Australasian Recycling Label (ARL) on their packaging.

Held on 22 February at 10am AEDT, this AIP-hosted webinar will be showcasing the benefits of embedding the ARL on packaging, as well as the value it brings to a business, its customers, and the environment.

In addition, the AIP will be discussing the new innovative and educational ARL Marketplace, which has been designed for SMEs.

“If you are a SME or work with SMEs, then this webinar will help you to better understand the ARL Marketplace,” said Nerida Kelton, executive director at the AIP.

“The ARL Marketplace currently features a range of free educational tools, videos, factsheets, animations, and other resources, including learning modules developed by the AIP that have been designed for SMEs.

“These tools provide SMEs with all the information they need to build more sustainable practices in their business, and the AIP are also here to guide you through the process.”

Food & Drink Business

Pure Foods Tasmania (PFT) says its 3Q24 results should be viewed “through the prism of major restructuring” that was focused on “tight capital management, cost reduction, and product rationalisation”. PFT has also announced a capital raise.

Three years after resigning as managing director of Lion Australia, James Brindley is back in the role as the company announces a series of structural and people changes.
